Battersea Power Station was a decommissioned coal-fired power station located on the south bank of the River Thames in Nine Elms, Battersea, within the London Borough of Wandsworth. It was one of the world’s largest brick buildings and a lasting symbol of London’s industrial past.

After remaining empty for nearly 40 years, a redevelopment plan was launched with the mission of creating a new iconic London landmark.

The third phase of the redevelopment consists of the development of the so-called Electric Boulevard, which will include a connection to the Northern Line Extension station, more than 1,300 residential units, a 160-room hotel, retail spaces, restaurants, and leisure facilities.

Dextra has supplied several rebar coupler solutions to the site. More than 100,000 格瑞普泰克 和 罗尔泰克 cast-in-situ couplers were installed in masonry cells to alleviate rebar congestion caused by long lap lengths.

The mixed-use community was expected to be completed in 2020, becoming a new landmark for locals, tourists, and residents alike.
