House of the Earth at Geomatikum, Germany
Adjacent to the Geomatikum building, home to various departments and research centers of the University of Hamburg, the new “House of the Earth” is taking shape. Spanning over 21,000 square meters, this state-of-the-art facility will serve as a hub for geoscience and climate research. Beginning in 2018, all units of the CliSAP (Integrated Climate System Analysis and Prediction) excellence cluster will operate from this location, fostering close collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology.
During 2016 and 2017, Dextra supplied its 格瑞普泰克 system for the splicing of cast-in-place reinforcement across various sections of the building. 格瑞普泰克 couplers, fully approved by DIBt(德国建筑技术研究所) for the German construction market, are available throughout Germany via our extensive distributor network.
