Dextra Pressed Connection (PC) Headed Bars are designed for anchoring shear and shear load-bearing steels, as an alternative to bends and hooks.
They make the installation of transverse reinforcement faster and
less tiring, especially in thick structures or where access from one
side is difficult.
They also eliminate the need to bend the steel on-site, where
conditions may not always allow for the minimum bend diameters
required by standards.
PC Headed Bars are CARES approved to the CARES criteria TA1-B and the nuclear product specification TA1-C (Class A)

Headed Bars are available in 5 rebar diameters ranging
from Ø10 to Ø20 mm for links, ties or shear reinforcement. - Net Bearing Area ≥ 9 x rebar cross section area, complying with the requirements of FIB Model Code 2010
- Achieved a full “bar break” level of performance when loaded in tension to destruction, it will be the rebar that fails away from the influence of the head or connection.
