The Pelješac Bridge construction aimed to connect the mainland to the Pelješac Peninsula, replacing the need for ferry services and significantly reducing travel time between these regions. Dextra’s Fortec couplers played a pivotal role in connecting the pile reinforcement cages, ensuring the bridge’s structural stability.

The 85,000 Fortec couplers, in sizes ranging from 16-50 mm, and in Types A, B, and C, were used in the construction of the Pelješac Bridge to securely connecting the pile reinforcement cages and ensuring the long-term stability and safety of such a critical piece of infrastructure.
