Construction des 2e ponts de Kanchpur, Meghna et Gumti

Le projet de construction des deuxièmes ponts de Kanchpur, Meghna et Gumti et de réhabilitation des ponts existants (projet KMG) comprend la construction de trois nouveaux ponts sur la route nationale n° 1 (NH-1) traversant les rivières Kanchpur, Meghna et Gumti, ainsi que la réhabilitation et la rénovation des ponts existants.

Les nouveaux ponts comportent quatre voies et sont construits à côté d'anciens ponts dotés de routes d'accès.

L'objectif du projet est d'améliorer les conditions de circulation et l'efficacité des transports sur la route nationale n°1 entre Dhaka et Chittagong, contribuant ainsi à la croissance économique à long terme du Bangladesh.

Dextra a fourni des milliers de coupleurs Unitec, allant d'un diamètre de 12 mm à 28 mm, pour relier les dalles supérieures et les piliers.

Unitec est un système d'épissure boulonnée conçu pour la connexion de deux barres d'armature non préparées au préalable (pas de filetage). Il peut être assemblé sur site avec une clé à chocs/pneumatique standard.

Voie express du nord de Luzon

Le projet North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) est un grand projet routier, en partie surélevé, se déroulant au nord de Manille, la capitale des Philippines. L'objectif du projet est de fournir une solide liaison routière Nord-Sud sur l'île de Luçon. La longueur totale du projet dépasse 80 km.

Pour ce projet, Dextra a soutenu l'entrepreneur Leighton Philippinese avec son populaire
Bartec solution, méthode d'épissage de barres d'armature populaire en Asie du Sud-Est.

Bartec est très populaire en Asie car il offre aux entrepreneurs un moyen fiable de connecter les barres d'armature. La séquence unique de préparation des barres d'armature Bartec, qui commence par la coupe/agrandissement de l'extrémité de la barre, permet d'uniformiser la barre d'armature avant le filetage, la rendant ainsi fiable dans le temps, même entre différents lots de barres.

Entre 2015 et 2017, des coupleurs de barres d'armature ont été utilisés sur le segment surélevé du projet d'autoroute nord de Luzon, au sommet des pylônes du pont. Des coupleurs ont permis la liaison entre les pylônes et la tête des poutres préfabriquées, qui supporteront à terme la route.

Rien que pour cette application, plus de 78 000 coupleurs de barres d'armature ont été utilisés, dans les diamètres D28 et D36. Bezons Viaduct is part of the extension to the suburban train line E (Eole) of the Regional Express Network, an hybrid transit system in Paris, France, serving the capital and its suburbs.

The viaduct connects the train line E to the existing network with a 96m-long bowstring-arch bridge that allows the lines to pass over the existing railway line on ground.

A proper concrete tensioning system was required to ensure the stability of the 2,000 tons structure: Dextra and its Tension Rods stepped in for that purpose.

The key success factor of this project, both in terms of design and customer care, was the strong collaboration between Dextra and its local partner Freyssinet.

Pont Zuari – impressionnant pont à haubans et approches à Goa, Antilles

The Zuari bridge is a 640-meter long 8-lane cable-stayed bridge laying across the massive river Zuari in Goa. The project also includes 450-meter long elevated approaches with only 2 pillars, along with a 12-kilometer detour. The total value of the project is estimated at $227M.

This new bridge will solve the long commute problems across the two banks of the river. Additionally, with the wider span than the old one, this shall also take care of the growing vehicular traffic which its predecessor built some 30 years back.

With the new bridge, the Public Work Department (PWD) aims to improve road safety and ease traffic flow. Two towers and viewing galleries will also be added for tourism purposes. Being started in 2016, the project is planned to be finished in 2019.

Parallel-threaded rebar couplers for the bridge’s pile cages and pylons

For this massive project in Goa, Dextra has been supplying its popular parallel-threaded rebar splicing solutions Bartec for Fe 500 and Fe 600 Grade steel. More than 110K Bartec couplers are getting installed in Pile cages and Pile caps. This is one of the iconic bridge project, may be one of its kind, with Fe 600 grade steel to be a part of Pile caps and Fe 500 grade steel in piles up to 48 meter deep. Pylon is 103 meter in height and designed with Fe 600 grade steel as well.

Bartec is a full performance mechanical rebar couplers, with no reduction of cross-section area of the bar thanks to their parallel-threads. This characteristic makes the rebar connections a strong point of the structure, and can also simplify the project’s inventory: one type of coupler for both standard and position applications.

The bar-end preparation is also supported by 3 high-productivity machines which prepare each bar in sequence: cutting, cold forging and threading.

Dextra post-tensioning bars for precast elements and segment castings

In addition to Bartec couplers, for the bridge’s precast segments, the contractors also opted for Dextra post-tensioning bar systems. PT bars helps the project’s stakeholders carry out the erection of precast segments and the casting of the segments in time, and in a quality controlled manner.

More than 500 sets of pt bars were delivered to the project as of November 2018. Dextra has made supplies to Dilip Buildcon for Yard applications and Launching.

Also, for phase III of the project, Dextra has made supplies to NRS for PT bars and accessories.

Le ministère indonésien des Travaux publics (MoPW) a commandé la construction d'un nouveau projet de ponts jumeaux traversant la rivière Mahakam à Samarinda, dans la province du Kalimantan oriental. Le projet Mahakam IV comprend deux ponts séparés : le pont à haubans de 1 388 m a une longueur de travée de 220 m, une largeur de 17 m et un dégagement vertical de 22 m, tandis que le pont principal de 740 m de long a une largeur de 14 m et un dégagement vertical de 25 m.

Dextra a déjà été impliqué dès les premières étapes du projet, en fournissant des outils BIM afin d'intégrer le système de support de tension dans la conception structurelle globale.

À la fin du processus, plus de 60 tirants en acier au carbone de différentes longueurs ont été livrés sur le chantier. Les fourches et les tendeurs du système permettent d'ajuster la longueur pour répondre aux exigences du site.

Le système de tirants Dextra permet une absorption optimale des charges de tension de la structure. Un certain nombre de qualités de résistance et de finitions de surface différentes sont disponibles pour répondre à toutes les exigences techniques et esthétiques du projet.

Le projet a été achevé et ouvert à la circulation en 2019.

The National Highway 44 (NH 44) is the longest highway of India, spanning 3,745km from Srinagar to Kanyakumari.

As time moved forward, the cities close to the highway expanded at such a pace that the neighborhoods adjoining the highway mushroomed to very significant numbers.

As a result, the pedestrians and light vehicles along the two sides of the road often affect the flow and speed of long route heavy vehicles. It also poses a big risk for those local lighter vehicles and pedestrians.

To solve this problem, the Highway Authority of India proposed the road widening to be coupled with flyovers over the stretch wherein the highway is running through densely populated towns.

The 34-km long elevated stretch of highway in Nagpur-Hyderabad area is being constructed to improve the road network between Nagpur and the capital city of Hyderabad.

The authorities selected a segmental construction technology for the elevated bridges, and each heavy segment was casted in the quality-controlled environment of precast yards.

Considering the substantial size of these precast segments, it has been necessary to source easy-to-use lifting material, capable of sustaining high loads.

Dextra hot rolled fully threaded bars were the best fit to those requirements.

More than 100 sets of fully threaded (FT) post tensioning bars for lifting and launching of precast segments with launching girder have been supplied for this project, along with accessories such as end nuts and couplers.

Dextra FT Bar systems are frequently used for temporary applications such as heavy lifting and stitching of precast elements and anchoring of steel frame supports.

In the case of permanent applications, the FT Bars can be used for the connection of girders and piers in segmental bridge construction.

Le pont Temburong, également connu sous le nom de pont Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien, est situé dans la baie de Brunei, au nord-est du pays. Avec une longueur de 30 kilomètres et quatre voies, c'est l'un des ponts maritimes les plus longs du monde.

Le pont relie Sungai Besar et Mengkubau. Il permet aux voyageurs de voyager entre les deux territoires sans traverser la Malaisie, évitant ainsi les quatre points de contrôle de l'immigration sur l'itinéraire actuel, qui est souvent encombré.

Dextra s'est impliqué dans ce projet en fournissant 34 000 mètres linéaires de tubes Sonitec pour le test d'intégrité des pieux de fondation en utilisant la méthode de test CSL (crosshole sonic logging).

La construction du pont a commencé en 2014 et a été officiellement ouverte à la circulation en 2020.

Barapullah Elevated corridor is a major infrastructure project in India. The main purpose of this extension is to ease traffic congestion, as well as to provide a new express connectivity between Indira Gandhi International Airport and east Delhi.

Reinforcing the elevated road with PT bars

For the construction of this flyover, Dextra has been supplying its fully-threaded PT bars, as well as its well-known Bartec rebar splicing solution to the contractor L&T Construction.
The PT bar systems were applied in temporary applications of the construction project. Dextra fully-threaded post-tensioning bars are currently being used for lifting and launching the precast elements of the expressway’s elevated structures.

The Atlantic Bridge project, also called the Third Bridge Over the Canal, is being developed closed to the Atlantic Ocean entrance of the Panama Canal. This $600M project consists in construction of a 1-kilometer cable-stayed bridge, along with access viaducts on both sides and connections to the existing roads, as well as pedestrian and bicycle lanes. When archived, the bridge will allow vehicles to cross the Panama Canal even when the locks are in operation.

One of the World’s longest concrete cable-stayed bridge with Bartec

With its 530-meter central span and its vertical clearance of 75 meters above sea level allowing the passage of Post-Panamax ships, the four-lane Atlantic Bridge is one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the World. It is also supported by two delta-shaped main pylons, reaching 212.5 meter height.
Dextra Amérique Latine, with its main office in Panama City, was involved in supplying its rebar splicing solution Bartec for the reinforcement of the bridge’s concrete structure.

More than 350,000 Bartec couplers were delivered to the contractor VINCI Construction Grands Projets for the reinforcement of the bridge’s pile cages, pile caps and pylons for up to #14 (dia. 43 mm.) bars. Plus, three Dextra Bartec machine sets have been used to support the bar-end preparation on site.
Moreover, in order to avoid steel congestion in the heavily reinforced areas, more than 50,000 Dextra end anchors Barres à tête are used in the bridge’s pile caps.

The Atlantic bridge is now in its final construction stage, and is planned to open in early 2019.

Phuoc Khanh Bridge, Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway

Phuoc Khanh bridge is a 4.7-kilometer cable-stayed bridge linking Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai. The bridge is part of the southern Vietnam’s longest highway, Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway, running through Long An province, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province.
When completed, the highway will connect the south-western region with the south-eastern region of the country, facilitating the transportation between the two parts of the country with improved traffic flow and larger lanes. The project aims to develop the socio-economic activities of this area.

Barres de post-tension Dextra pour applications permanentes du pont

For the construction of the Phuoc Khanh Bridge, Dextra is supplying its post-tensioning bar systems as permanent post-tensioning anchors.
Over 250 high performance fully-threaded post-tensioning bars and over 200 smooth bar systems were delivered to site. Also known as PT bars, they are specifically designed for post-tensioned applications. They can be corrosion-protected as is the case for the equipment supplied in the project. The corrosion protection is done in a controlled facility in Dextra’s factory, before being shipped to site.
