Punto de referencia 81, Ciudad Ho Chi Minh
Landmark 81 is a new highrise tower project located on the bank of the Saigon river in Ho Chi Minh City. The project is owned by Vietnamese company Vingroup.
The tower, whose construction started end of 2014, is expected to reach the height of 462 meters, a new height record in Vietnam. Landmark 81 will the 11th tallest tower building in the world.
For this project, Dextra is supplying its renowned
bartec solution to contractor Coteccons. Bartec solution has been approved by ARUP, owner’s representative consultant, and MACE International, structural consultant.
In total, 250,000 Bartec couplers will be used for vertical rebar connection in the corewall and columns as well as for horitonzal applications such as corewall-to-beam and corewall-to-slab connections.
The use of rebar couplers allows the climbing ormwork to move its way up unencumbered as well as connect slabs starting bars in a very productive manner. Those technologies combined with state-of-the-art concrete monitoring allow very fast construction cycles as short as 35 hours per floor.
For composite applications (steel columns to beams), Dextra also supplied 20,000 weldables couplers.

The fast-paced construction site is supported by three sets of Dextra Bartec equipment, installed directly on site. The equipment is maintained by Dextra and operated by Dextra’s distributor in Vietnam, Lotus Greentech.
Concrete works were completed ahead of schedule early 2018.
