Ensuring Robust Connections with Bartec Rebar Couplers

Dextra supplied nearly 2 million Bartec rebar couplers, essential for creating secure connections across various structural components. These couplers have been utilized extensively in the connections for diaphragm wall (d-wall) caging and slabs, pile cages, piers, and pier caps. By ensuring high-strength rebar connections, Bartec couplers contribute to the overall durability and resilience of the metro structure, particularly important in a densely populated and busy urban environment like Chennai.

Precision Testing with Sonitec CSL Testing Tubes

To ensure the highest standards of concrete integrity, Dextra provided over 80,000 Sonitec crosshole sonic logging (CSL) testing tubes. These tubes facilitate rigorous testing of piles and d-walls, helping to identify potential flaws within the concrete structure. CR Bar 1080 for U-Girder Stressing and Pre-Tensioning

One of the critical components of the project is the elevated section of the metro, which relies on U-girders for support. To enhance the strength and resilience of these U-girders, Dextra supplied its innovative CR Bar 1080 cold-rolled fully threaded post-tensioning bars. These bars, with a diameter of 75mm, are specifically designed to withstand high stress during both U-girder stressing and pre-tensioning operations. The hexagonal nuts provided as part of the system allow for secure fastening and easy adjustment, ensuring precise tensioning to meet the structural demands.

 

Fully Threaded (FT) Bar for Segment Stitching and Temporary Stressing

For segment stitching and temporary stressing operations during the construction of the metro viaduct, Dextra supplied its fully threaded (FT) bars. These bars provide secure connections between precast segments and offer flexibility for adjustments during the stitching process, ensuring that the structural alignment is perfect before the segments are permanently joined.

Unitec Couplers for Rebar Connections

In addition, Dextra supplied Unitec couplers, designed for connecting rebars at construction sites without the need for pre-threading. These couplers offer a convenient and robust solution, allowing for seamless connection of two rebars, ensuring structural continuity and strength without delays in the construction process.

Sonitec CSL Testing Tubes for Concrete Pile Integrity

In addition to supplying post-tensioning bars, Dextra also provided Sonitec Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL) testing tubes for the integrity testing of the concrete piles supporting the metro structures. These tubes enable highly accurate non-destructive testing of the concrete, allowing engineers to detect any potential flaws or weaknesses in the piles. This testing is vital for ensuring the piles meet the necessary strength and quality standards, thereby supporting the entire metro system safely and effectively.

Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands ist ein spektakuläres Resort mit mehr als 2.500 Zimmern, einem Casino, vielen Restaurants und einem einzigartigen Sky Garden. Das Projekt wurde 2010 fertiggestellt und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht.

Für dieses Projekt lieferte Dextra zwischen 2007 und 2008 Lösungen für die Verstärkungsspleißung sowie Sonitec-Rohre.

In den Fundamenten für Schlitzwände wurden Bewehrungskupplungen von Bartec eingesetzt, die eine doppelte Herausforderung lösten.

Erste Bewehrungskupplungen können vertikal verwendet werden, um D-Wall-Körbe miteinander zu verbinden und so eine längere Käfiglänge zu erreichen.

Dann können Muffen auch horizontal als Deckenanschlüsse verwendet werden. In diesem Fall wird die Kupplung normalerweise auf Hakenstangen montiert und in Beton gegossen. Zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt kann die Verbindung wieder mit dem Bewehrungsstab der zweiten Phase verbunden werden, um mit der Plattenverstärkung zu beginnen.

Kupplungen wurden auch für unterirdische Tunnel und Lüftungsgebäude verwendet.

Für die Fundamente lieferte Dextra außerdem mehr als 100.000 laufende Meter Sonitec-Rohre, die sich einfach in Bewehrungskörben verlegen und wieder verbinden lassen, was die Produktivität steigert und langwierige und unzuverlässige Schweißarbeiten überflüssig macht. Nach der Installation sitzen die Rohre fest an ihrem Platz und unterstützen problemlos das Heben und Bewegen des Käfigs.

Der Flughafen Dubai ist der Hauptflughafen der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate. Der berühmte Flughafen, der nur wenige Kilometer nördlich der Stadt Dubai liegt, ist die Heimat der berühmten Fluggesellschaft Emirates. Der Dubai International Airport ist hinsichtlich des internationalen Passagieraufkommens der #1-Flughafen der Welt.

Dextra Middle-East, ebenfalls mit Sitz in Dubai, war an zahlreichen Paketen für den Bau des Flughafens Dubai beteiligt, insbesondere in den Jahren 2003 bis 2005, für den Bau von Terminal 3 und den dazugehörigen Abfertigungshallen.

Für das Dubai Internal Project hat Dextra sein beliebtes Produkt geliefert
Bartec Kopplerlösung, #1 Bewehrungskopplerlösung in den VAE. 1,5 Millionen Kupplungen wurden am Dubai International Airport eingesetzt.

Überbau

Bartec-Kupplungen boten eine technische Lösung, um die Wiederverbindung der Zweitphasenbewehrung zwischen Stützen und Balken sowie zwischen Wänden und Balken zu ermöglichen.

Bewehrungskupplungen wurden auch verwendet, um vorübergehende Öffnungen in der Bewehrung zu schaffen, die den Durchgang von Mensch und Ausrüstung ermöglichten.

Stiftungen

Für die Gründungspfähle wurden Bartec-Kupplungen verwendet. Für diese Anwendung wurden die Kupplungen Teil eines sehr integrierten und automatisierten Käfigherstellungsprozesses, der es ermöglichte, Bewehrungsstäbe mit großem Durchmesser in kürzester Zeit miteinander zu verbinden und die Käfigproduktionsleistung zu maximieren.

Als Ergänzung zur Bartec-Bewehrungskupplungslösung wurden Dextra Sonitec-Rohre verwendet, um eine schnelle Installation und Wiederverbindung der Schallrohre über die gesamte Käfiglänge hinweg zu gewährleisten. Sonitec-Röhren sind dank ihrer Push-Fit-Gummimündung besonders einfach zu installieren und dank ihrer geschweißten Köpfe einfach im Käfig zu installieren. Im Laufe der Jahre wurden auf dem Dubai International Airport mehr als 1.800.000 Meter Sonitec-Röhren installiert!

Bangkok BTS

Das Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS) ist ein großes städtisches Skytrain-System in Bangkok, der Hauptstadt Thailands. Das System wurde 1999 eingeweiht.

Ab 2017 besteht das System aus 24 Hochbahnhöfen und 37 km Hochbahn, die in zwei Hauptlinien organisiert sind, die sich im Hauptbahnhof von Siam kreuzen.

Das BTS-System wird derzeit auf seinen beiden Hauptstrecken erweitert, wobei Streckenabschnitte und Stationen voraussichtlich 2019 und 2020 in Betrieb gehen.

Stiftungen

Im Laufe der Jahre hat Dextra für verschiedene Pakete Sonitec-Rohre geliefert, mit denen die Betonpfahlfundamente unter Bahnhöfen und Schienen getestet werden.

Insgesamt lieferte Dextra etwa 40.000 laufende Meter Sonitec-Rohre, eine Entfernung, die tatsächlich der Länge des BTS-Systems selbst entspricht.

Bartec Ermöglicht das bequeme Verbinden vorgefertigter Bewehrungskörbe mithilfe einer einfachen Bewehrungskupplung, was im Vergleich zu Überlappungen Stahleinsparungen ermöglicht und die Arbeiten auf der Baustelle beschleunigt.

In Thailand wird der Gewindeschneidvorgang von der Dextra-Fabrik unterstützt, die günstig im Nordosten von Bankgok liegt. Der Bauunternehmer erhält den bereits vorbereiteten und montierten Bewehrungsstahl mit seiner Bewehrungskupplung.
