Four large diameter soft eyes have been installed in the diaphragm wall cages of the new Singapore MRT Marine Terrace Station during August 2017.
Soft-Eyes bestehen aus GFK-Bewehrungsstäben, die als Ersatz für die Stahlverstärkung in den D-Wänden von Bauschächten verwendet werden. Wenn die Tunnelbohrmaschine (TBM) die D-Wände durchbricht, schneidet sie die GFK-Stäbe problemlos durch und spart so Zeit beim Projektplan und Geld bei der Gerätenutzung.
Dextra ist seit seinem ersten Einsatz im U-Bahn-Projekt Bangkok im Jahr 1998 der Pionier dieser Anwendung und verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrung in der hauseigenen Entwicklung und Herstellung von Soft-Eyes.
The D-Walls installed on Terrace Station also feature Bartec® rebar couplers, a common application which allows for the horizontal re-connection of the station slabs.
