More than 200 members of the Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies (Fed.MES), along with personalities from the local construction industry, attended a high-impact seminar organized by SKM Steels Limited, a strategic partner of Dextra in Myanmar.
The Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies is the only engineering body that has a direct influence on all the engineers and consultants of the Country, thus making the event even more relevant.
Dextra had the unique chance of sharing its extensive knowledge on rebar couplers with an engaged and attentive audience.
Specifically, one of the main topics of discussion has been the benefit of using rebar couplers as a replacement to the classic rebar overlapping method.
Rebar couplers have been a household name in Europe and US for several decades now, and this construction methodology is gaining a lot of traction in South East Asia, where Dextra has already worked on some of the most iconic projects in the region.
The event was held on September 14th in Yangoon, Myanmar.
